Your house is the show.
Each show is built for one house. The scenes are painted onto your walls, windows, doors and garage, so characters walk along the porch, the garage door becomes a movie screen, and the whole house changes with the music.

Put a show on your own house
Pick a photo of the front of your house, trace around it, and watch show looks play on it. Your photo stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Straight on from the street works best, with the whole front of the house in the picture.
Press and hold the picture to save it (right-click on a computer). You can attach it to your request email along with your house map.
A quick preview made in your browser. A real show is fitted to every window, door and roofline and built to the music.
Pick your effects
Tap a picture to watch the effect on a house. Add the ones you like and they go into your request, so I know what to save for the biggest moments in your songs.
These run on a drawing of my own house. In your show they're fitted to yours and timed to the music, alongside the scenes and characters.
How I build a show
No measuring tape, no visit, and no outline for you to draw. A good photo of the front of the house is enough to start.
The houseThe show
from where the projector will sit
Send your house map
One photo of the front, taken from the spot where the projector will go, with the whole house in frame. Dusk works best.

The show is fitted to it
Every wall, window, door, garage panel and roofline is traced from your photo, so frost grows along the real trim, characters stand on the real porch, and nothing spills onto the lawn.

Your show
You get a 1080p video made for your house. Plug it into your projector, line it up once, and play it on a loop.
Drag through a whole show
Every house in a show, start to finish. Drag across the picture to watch the house change from the first note to the last.
Will your setup work?
Move the sliders to match your house. It's a rough guide built on the same numbers I use when I plan a show.
- Projector type
- Detail
- For a bright show
See this brightness on your house: the Try it preview follows these numbers. Assumes a dark street and the projector's full rated lumens. Street lights, porch lights and an older lamp all cut into it.
Plan your show nights
Set your hours and see when each run starts. Then make a sign for the yard so people know where to tune in.
Screenshot the sign to print it. Run times are about four minutes a show, 12 to 15 for a full show, and two for a countdown; yours will match your songs.
Not sure what to ask for?
Three quick taps and you'll get a few ideas to start from.
Prices
Every price includes fitting the show to your house. You get an MP4 video at 1920 × 1080, 30 frames a second, with sound, ready to play from a USB stick or media player.

Questions people ask
Do I need my own projector?
Yes. The show is a video file made for your house, and it plays from your projector. Tell me what you have and I'll make sure the show fits it.
How bright does the projector need to be?
Brighter is better. Around 3,000 lumens or more works for most houses, and a dark or brick house needs more. A short-throw projector can sit closer to the house.
Can I move the projector after it's set up?
Keep it in the same spot. The show is lined up from that spot, and moving it even a few feet throws the fit off. Mark where the legs sit so you can put it back each night.
How do people hear the music?
Most shows play the sound through a small FM transmitter, so people tune their car radio to your station. Outdoor speakers work too if the neighbors don't mind.
Will a street light wash it out?
Bright light on the house fades the show. Tell me in the form, and the show can use bolder colors and keep the key moments away from the brightest wall.
How far ahead should I order?
Two weeks before your first show night. In the busy season, October and mid-November through Christmas, give it three weeks.
What do I actually get?
A 1080p video file built to the photo of your house. Play it from a USB stick, a streaming stick or a laptop, on a loop or on a schedule.
Why do you need a photo from where the projector sits?
The show is lined up to the house as the projector sees it. A photo from that spot lets every window and door land where it should.
What if my house has a tree or a car in the way?
Say so in the form. Shows can skip a blocked wall, or put the busiest moments where the view is clear.
What's the difference between a show and a full show?
A show is one song, about four minutes. A full show runs 12 to 15 minutes, act after act with a new house look for each, and opens with a countdown and your family name, with a narrator throughout. It's the same kind of show as my own nights on the Halloween page.
What does the narrator do?
A voice that welcomes the street, introduces each act and sends everyone off at the end. It's $50 on any show, and included with the full show.
Can my family name be on the house?
Yes. Countdown shows put your name and greeting on the house, and names can go into the main show too.
Can I use any song or movie?
Bring your idea and we'll talk it through. Some shows use original art and music, and some use media you supply for your own home display.
Got it. Thanks!
